“Para todos mis amigos y admiradores, gracias por todo sus buenos deseos y oraciones. Yo solo espero ser la mitad del hombre espiritual que fue mi padre. Que descanse en paz. José Miguel Secada 1928-2011”

Miami, FL (November 2, 2011)- Following the sad passing of Jon Secada’s father, Jose Miguel Secada, the artist took to his twitter and Facebook to state the following:
“To my friends & fans out there thank you for all your prayers and good wishes. I only hope I can be ½ of the spiritual man my father was. May he rest in peace. Jose Miguel Secada 1928-2011”
