The word from Occupy Wall Street security is that Brookfield plans on shutting Zuccotti Park down around Christmas for “renovations.”
So, the event planners at Occupy decided there’s only one thing to do…
Drum Circle party.
On New Years Eve Occupy will be holding a “New Years Eve Occupy Drum Circle Party At Zuccotti Park.” It starts Saturday the 31st and 6:00 p.m. and here’s the description:
WHILE BLOOMBERG’S ARMY IS BUSY THE OCCUPIERS WILL COME BACK TOGETHER TO DRUM IN THE NEW YEAR. BRING LOVE AND DRUMS AND FOOD. THE PARK WILL BE CLOSED AROUND CHRISTMAS AND PROBABLY FENCED OFF SO BRING BOLT CUTTERS.
