e it has signed a worldwide publishing deal with songwriter and 19 Recordings/Interscope recording artist, Haley Reinhart.
“We are very excited that Haley chose to sign with ole,” says Michael McCarty, ole President. “In addition to the gifted voice and million-watt charisma evident on American Idol, she can really write songs and has the soul and vision of a true artist.”
Haley Reinhart adds, “I am so delighted to be a part of the ole publishing family. They see me for the true artist I’ve always aspired to be. They’ve welcomed me with open arms and I can already tell this will be a long-lasting and successful affair.”
Haley’s time on Idol brought wide attention and praise from a number of notable musicians and celebrities including Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert, Tom Hanks and Ellen DeGeneres, among others. Music legends Robert Plant and Jimmy Page paid her the ultimate compliment by approving her to perform the Led Zeppelin song, “What Is and What Should Never Be,” for Top Three week.
Haley’s rendition of Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep” quickly established her as a fan favorite. That acclaim led fans to search for more and the reaction to her postings on YouTube has been nothing short of spectacular. Haley is the only Season 10 contestant to generate over one million views on four of her performance videos. Haley also teamed up with fellow Idol alum, Casey Abrams, on a jazzy ensemble of the Holiday classic “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”. The single and video both debuted in the iTunes Top 10.
Haley’s first single from her upcoming debut album will launch this March.
